The famous writer Paulo Coelho has said ‘If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine, it is lethal’. Words of wisdom i must say! So only a week after being back from Mumbai we were set to go on a road trip to Kodaikanal with friends. This one was a jungle stay with mountain trek and how could i let go off this exciting chance! When it comes to traveling, I am sometimes crazy like that!
Dress & Shirt – Colaba Causeway, Shoes & Necklace- Forever21
Our trip to Kodaikanal was one offbeat vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, into the jungle. This one was nothing like we had done before. I feel so glad to have experienced nature from so close, though it frightened me at times but we wanted more. Definitely doing it again sometime soon. I will be sharing the pictures from our jungle trek, stay and my experience in a separate post and this post is dedicated to the outfit we managed to shoot there.
When we talk about denim, 70’s fashion and wearable pieces, it definitely is a right choice for the season and this outfit has it all. A classic white shirt blends seamlessly with denim giving it a perfect summer vibe. This particular denim shirt dress caught my eye for its relaxed and unstructured silhouette while shopping at Colaba causeway in Mumbai.
Now we all have days when we do not want to put any effort consciously in deciding an outfit and reach out to something which is easy to carry and comfortable. And with pieces like this in a carefully chosen wardrobe, boring is the last thing you will find!! This particular outfit is my savior in such situations. A low maintenance denim shirt dress gets its makeover with layering which is high on style-o-meter and a must have because not every summer is about pairing a simple tee with jeans. A breezy dress, light layering, chunky jewellery and the chunkiest shoes are what you need to make your summer outfit fun this season.
While shooting this look it started pouring in but we managed to get a few good shots. I hope you like them too and do not forget to share your views with me…
Much love.. 🙂
