Saturdays !!

There are days when you don’t want to dress up. Specially on a Saturday that starts early and you are busy doing household errands and finishing the piled up work. Such days demand the company of your super casual and comfortable maxi dress with a denim shirt layering to save you from the chill, in case it gets breezy!!

With the weather conditions changing so quickly in Bangalore from breezy cold mornings to burning sunny afternoons, you can never go wrong with this combination. Layering is always the best bet. This denim shirt is a great find from sarojini market trip in 2012 which was also my first. Its one of the most comfiest piece i own and perfect for layering.

Its the pick-me-up outfit for me. Does not need much of efforts and yet make me standout. The backpack is a must have and this one here is becoming my favourite. I can dump my stuff in there and yet it is just fine to carry. The monk strap shoes i am wearing are super comfy and i now believe it was right choice purchasing these over heels.

Dress: Splash, Shoes: Next official, Backpack– Forever 21, Red lipstick– Maybelline

This being the casual look demanded minimal or no makeup and accessories. But how can i not put on a dark lip, that when you are out at 7 in the morning. So, a bright lipstick is necessary to not make you look sluggish.

Some time back i used to find comfort only in jeans but having experimented with my style, i feel there is still so much to explore.I love adorning maxi skirts or dresses now as much as i love my jeans. Being a fashion blogger has given me the liberty to experiment with my looks but what has still stayed the same is my yearning for comfort in all outfits.

This piece is very close to my heart and that is how you generally will find me in a mall shopping or sipping coffee in a cozy cafe. Dressy sometimes but always at my comfortable best. 🙂
