In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous — Aristotle
Bali is one such marvelous place which has left me completely smitten with its natural beauty, rich culture and warm people. It is ranked as one of the world’s most romantic honeymoon destination by Conde Nast traveler and it should be considering the variety of experiences it offers. You can find a lot of travel companies, websites offering Bali Tour packages but ours was a self-planned trip.
We stayed in Nusa Dua area for the first two days during our trip to Bali. It is a very calm and not so commercialized region as compared to Kuta and perfect for people who want to enjoy isolation from the hustle-bustle of the city.
We decided to relax and lay by the private beach side of our resort during the daytime after sumptuous and heavy breakfast. In evening, we planned to hop over to the very famous shopping center nearby called Bali Collection mall.
It’s actually not a mall but a complex full of big brand shops, restaurants, souvenir houses, shopping marts, local stuff and what not. The day was well spent as I got to shop for some local herbal skin products and eat yummy local dishes.
I would let you imagine our lovely day through pictures.
This was the private beach front of our resort.

Yummy…I can literally never forget the taste until I eat something better than this Gado Gado dish.

Dinner happened at Queens of India, Nusa Dua. This is considered one of the best Indian food restaurants in Bali. It has four different outlets spread across some of the best locations in Bali. The food was no doubt good but a little pricey. But considering the fact that you at least get Indian style veg food amidst all the seafood and meat-laden dishes, it is definitely a good choice.
