Hola everybody…. 🙂
How have you all been? Its feels really great to be back after a short break to writing stuff and my blog. I love what i do here. 😀
Little laid back i was all this while. Had my In-laws at our place and you know how it is with family and with an office routine to manage. As we stay away from family here in Bangalore, so it was a breath of fresh air having them here. Lots of food, fun and roaming around followed. 🙂
Nevertheless, I am back again and have a lil news to share. I finally checked out one wish out of my never-ending wish-list. 😛 I love clicking pics and this was on my mind from god knows when. So, finally i got my canon SLR and i am super excited to explore the possibilities ahead.
This post is the first one from my Cam and i hope you guys will like the work hubby dear has done here. 🙂
Named it ‘One Love‘ because this post has all the things which i love from the deepest core of my heart. The things like nature’s company, monsoons, fashion, photography, shopping(online) and now blogging(about same). Everything added together and a few more important things make me who i am today. Dreamy and optimist are the words for me. This is what took me to convert my passion for fashion into a full fledged blog and here i am today.
Talking about the outfit, today’s post is all about Poise and all things feminine. Tried to give it a Retro-cum-Vintage look with the twisted pin-tied hair in a loose one-side braid with flowers on it. The hand-fan i have used as a prop is what i got from Mysore during a short visit and thought of using it as it adds that retro feel to the look.
These days i have been noticing a lot of Vintage trend doing rounds in the fashion corner and i am dying to find one such boutique/store in Bangalore whereas Delhi has a lot of options like that.Leads for the same are welcomed. Anyhow, that not refraining my like for Vintage and doing a post on it, i paired this very light colored midi-skirt which i got from online portal StalkBuyLove with a pastel green full-sleeves top. Like how they used to wear about 20-30 years before, as that is what is considered Vintage.
I am super happy with the outcome and being a lil mushy here now. So, you guys have a look yourself and do let me know how did you like it.
Flower braids and floral crowns are also part of vintage trend. So i threw in my flower wreath that i got from Pigtails and Ponys to create another look with same ensemble. Pearls are an another important vintage trend and that explains the slightly big pearl earrings. 🙂
