Hello all
How are you? Hope having a good weekend. 🙂
I received my first MyEnvyBox last week and thought of doing a post on what i got in there and how i liked the products. Since i was trying it for the first time, was a bit skeptical about the genuinity of the ‘luxury products’ claim. Now lets read about my views on it.
MyEnvyBox is an international luxury beauty box consisting of 5 luxe beauty product samples. You can subscribe to this box for a month , 3 months , 6 months or for an year. I took the 3 months subscription already after reading good reviews. It is Priced at Rs. 850/month.
So this is the May edition and i must say all products are basic summer essentials and came wrapped in a soft aztec print cotton pouch. I loved the packaging of this box. Its a sturdy pink box with a flap opening. So no fuss in handling it and can be re-used later on to store stuff.
Coming to the list of products in the box.
1. Innisfree – Green tea seed serum oil sample.
I have never used any of these products before so was not sure if this particular serum will do any good to my skin. Plus its a very small packaging so would not know how it works. I was able to use this sample for only about 4-5 times but i found it very light on my skin as it gets easily absorbed and did not produce any oil on my face. Priced at Rs.1450 for 80ml.
2. H2O+ SPA Hand and Nail cream.
This product is my favourite of all in the box. First its a hand cream(obsessed with hand creams these days) and second it is of delux-size which can easily go for about a month. I am using it everyday and can say it nourishes well. My hands don’t sweat in sun after applying this and it has a very mild fragrance unlike Crabtree n Evelyn, which i currently own. So. if you are looking for fragrance in your hand cream then this one might disappoint you. But i loved it for the fact that it nourishes my hands well. Priced at Rs.1100 for 80ml
3. Eminence organics – Tropical vanilla Day cream SPF 32 sunscreen.
Now this one is a daily face cream sample. It is a good moisturizer and also contains SPF which is an added bonus. Generally my skin gets dry after bath especially in summers. But i found this one good for my skin because even a small quantity is enough and goes a long way. It does not sweat and has a very pleasant fragrance though i did not find the size of sample very amusing. Priced at Rs. 4393 for 60ml.
4. Roberto Cavalli – ‘Exotica’ EDT
This one is latest from Roberto Cavalli, launched in March 2014. Its a Day-time fragrance with floral and fruity notes. I really liked it because of its fragrance and it stays on for long too. A definite yes to this if you are planning to splurge on a new fragrance and confused which one to buy. Priced at Rs. 5200 for 75ml.
5. Za – True White cleansing foam.
After trying this face wash, i felt it would be suitable for very oily skin types as it dries out my medium oily skin a little but does brightens up my complexion instantly. Personally i am not quite impressed with this sample as compared to others. Priced at Rs.349 for 100 gms.
So that’s all for the products and reviews. Overall, i liked this beauty box and already waiting for the next one, wishing for the samples to be of bit more generous size. 🙂
Hope you liked it and if you want to get one for yourself, request for an Invite Here as subscription is on invite basis only as of now.
