There I was, happily engrossed in my daily life that I had forgotten about a note in my bag from two years back where I had listed my future travel wishlist after having the best experience in Bali. Fast forward to today, those two years are still not over and I have already ticked off London from my list and hoping to tick off some more before this year ends. In case you are are wondering, Shivam has travelled to UK for his work and I am accompanying him here. Talking about my London trip, it was a quick weekend drive from Norwich, a beautiful city where we are currently staying. And I couldn’t believe I was there a week after landing in UK! Since this trip was not planned, the first thing I did was some quick shopping to help me kill the chill and then obviously taking out my Instax mini 7s camera to capture our very first memories there!
I had received this latest entry from Fujifilm while my UK travel was getting finalised and I was secretly planning to use it here for the first time. Now London was only a sweet co-incidence. Though it was a quick work trip but we managed to do some sight-seeing on our second day. This city lest you are unaware goes crazy with the daily footfall specially in the central part of it where most touristy places are. Both Shivam and I personally like to stay away from crowd( unless of course it’s a music concert!) but this one time we didn’t mind. If it wasn’t for the place where we come from, getting through the crowded lanes and jam-packed metros were not an easy task.
We walked around the busy alleys of Knightsbridge, westminster and oxford street soaking in all that we could. It was definitely worth all the walking and I have tried to capture the essence of my trip here in these pictures. There is a charm in holding a print of the moment you just spent in your hands and knowing that you can keep it for life long. To collate all these pictures in a journal with some candid details from my travels is what I am going to do next. You can say that I am totally obsessed!
Hope you like this post and do not forget to leave your comments below if you do.
P.S I am off to buy the journal now! 🙂
