I know you might be thinking whats up with all the bright floral look of this post, with flowers in my hand and even the outfit has floral accents to it. Well, my blog survived through the initial first year of its existence and i am in a state of gaiety. It was a long journey of mistakes, hard work, perseverance, learning and contentment. So as i complete an year of writing and working on my blog tomorrow. I wanted to have a small celebration on blog and the flowers fit in perfectly!!
I don’t know how i came this far but one thing i know, doing this was never a task to me. Still the feeling is fresh and my love for what i do motivates me every single day till date. This journey was only possible with your constant love and support. A big ‘Thanks’ to all of you…. 🙂
While i was contemplating the idea for this post and deciding on the outfit to fit the occasion, i came across this lovely floral midi skirt and made my mind to feature it. The entire outfit was styled around the same.
Even the current weather gives us the freedom to style a skirt with Knits or pants with cotton tee/shirts with an option to throw in a jacket if required. So here i decided to add a cotton knit top in pink with this water print based skirt. I just loved those perfectly placed pleats and the length of this skirt. The jewellery i am wearing is by Koovs from their Mawi collection which was also a gift to self on my birthday.
Those who follow me on social networking know that i am currently back home and just loving the lazy holiday time. So, this post was shot a weekend before leaving(notice the excitement!) and i had limited time with me. I cannot begin to tell you how happy i was while while wearing this outfit and now as i am writing this post. I feel happiness is contagious and having done that makes you even more beautiful a person on the inside. That amazing feeling is what i desire to achieve through my work and hope i am successful somewhat … 🙂
