The Indian festive lookbook: Part 1

Hi Guys…

How have you all been?? If you follow me on Instagram, you would know that my Macbook conked off last weekend and I am super frustrated as it is still not repaired.. It has been a week since I gave it to these people but no clue when I am going to get it back! Anyways, I was itching to share this post with you all and couldn’t wait any longer. I am really sorry for being MIA all this while…but I hope this post will make it up for the lost time and for your wait!!

With the end of this month we would be entering the last quarter of this year aka into the festive season with major Indian festivals like Navratre, Karwa chauth, Dussehra and Diwali to be celebrated. And not to forget a plenty of wedding and engagement ceremonies that you cannot miss. So while we still have time to plan outfits and sort out everything, I decided to come up with a series of outfit posts on the blog for some festive wear inspiration for you guys. In this post I have created a ethnic fusion look featuring a long slit jacket dress paired with a silk skirt. And since it is a fusion look, I decided to add an interesting head gear for some fun. It is basically a kundan necklace that I had purchased long back. I love how it adds a touch of glamour there. Now who needs extensive embroideries or heavy sarees when you can carry yourself with panache and graciousness in this outfit. It is a statement piece that you can wear at your bestie’s sangeet or even for a diwali party function at home, which is my plan by the way!
