My minimalistic summer!

Minimalism

What to do when you are not in your best mood? To get up and to dress up seems like a dreaded task? And to top that, its burning out there! To deal with such days or my fickle mood swings, I switch to things that make me feel good and happy. Like a relaxing long bath, sniff of my favorite perfume or putting on my happy clothes, ones that are comfy yet fashionable. Feeling good about yourself is the most important factor to elevate the mood and dressing up does this somehow for me. I know you can relate with me too.

This long cotton tunic has become my most loved and abused piece this summer. It’s light as a feather, breezy and so versatile. I got it while shopping in Mumbai and have been wearing it a lot since then with my jeans or simply as a summer cover up over dresses. Where summer clothing is all about minimalism, comfortable silhouettes, soothing colors and elegant details, this outfit fits in perfectly.

Keeping my makeup minimal too, I have just drawn a fine line of black eyeliner, dash of mascara, hint of coral blush, n*de lips and dark brows. A simple choker necklace and red heels further completes my look, adding the much needed variation to my otherwise monochrome outfit.
