In my last haul post, I had mentioned about purchasing Bblunt products a while back. The list included some basic stuff from their Prep and Style range. In this post, I am sharing my experience with these products as promised.
Bblunt claims its products to be specially created for Desi(Indian) hair and to suit Indian climate. Well, this sounds perfect and now let’s see how it worked for me.
Here’s the list and review of Bblunt hair care products that I purchased :
Born again Shampoo – For stressed hair
Claims: When hair is weakened by chemical treatments, pollutants and adverse weather, this shampoo comes to your rescue. It revitalizes, reinforces and strengthens hair to help prevent breakage. Damage, meet damage control.
My Take On It: Great packaging, easy to use pump bottle and a decent price tag of Rs. 500 for this quantity. I purchased this shampoo as it claims to be perfect for colored hair and I have done global hair color recently. Another reason was the presence of Keratin and Quinoa content in it. But unfortunately, this shampoo did not suit my hair! There was quite a lot of hair fall during initial washes which however minimized later. It’s safe to say that I won’t be using this on regular basis and only occasionally to take a break from my regular shampoo.
There can be varied results for individual hair type. So it’s advisable to buy travel size product initially.
Intense moisture conditioner – For dry hair
Claims: This moisture-rich conditioner makes out-of-control hair manageable. It smoothens, softens and adds shine. It claims the presence of Jojoba, Vitamin E, Hydrolyzed Keratin & Wheat germ oil.
My take on it: Super cute packaging and portable bottle with standard size of 200g for Rs. 375. This is one product I loved trying from their Prep range. It added a healthy shine to my hair and I noticed my hair felt smooth after a wash. You should definitely give it a try.
Claims: This dry shampoo (no water required) does a smooth job of absorbing excess grease & grime and revamps your hair in seconds. Contains Micro-crystalline starch.
My take on it: Glossy packaging at an affordable price of Rs. 550 for 125ml. I purchased a travel size(80 ml) bottle as I wasn’t too sure about its effectiveness. The dry shampoo was handy during my bad hair days or in a busy week when I couldn’t wash my hair. It worked just fine for a day and I found my hair felt limp later. If you have a super oily scalp, dry shampoo won’t be much effective.
Anti-frizz leave in cream
Claims: This versatile cream ensures your hair looks great, however hot,dry or humid it gets out there. It enhances natural movement, smoothens and leaves you in charge, whatever the weather. Contains Hydrolyzed Keratin, Quinoa – the protein with 8 essential amino acids & Pro-vitamin B5.
My take on it: Easy to use packaging priced at Rs. 400 for 150gm which is quite economical if you compare it with its competitors in market. I liked this product for the fact that it is versatile. It not only works against frizz but can be used as a heat protectant too. Falling under their style range, I like to use this product on my hair before exposing them to heating tools and it makes the styling process easy.
Hope you find my review useful and do share with me if you have tried Bblunt products yourself. 🙂
