Going the Parisian way !!

This the weather we can’t have enough of. Its generally pleasant throughout the day, giving us the freedom to style different elements from our wardrobe in a single outfit without being uncomfortable in it. The shorts, skirts and dresses are out but keeping a blazer handy is advisable. This outfit, curated by combining both summer and winter elements was shot on one such beautiful morning when soft breeze and mildly warm sun were giving us company. Not only the shoot was fun but it left us feeling happy and content.

Layering is the key, enough said! There is a certain elegance and detail which it adds to our outfit. A simple dress can be transformed magically with fine layering. Taking inspiration from the street style in Paris, adorned with heavy layering(given the minus temperatures), big glasses, darker hues(of grey and black), nude makeup and comfort feet, i gave in too to try the trend. Where it sounds complicated, i feel the trick is to put together all elements keeping in mind the silhouette, color contrast and nature of the pieces which gel well with each other.

Here i have layered a light camel cardigan over a white cut-work dress and paired it with my favourite leopard print canvas shoes. These shoes add a right amount of androgyny factor to the otherwise plain look. An enormous tote bag, nerdy glasses, half-tied hair and dainty jewellery completed it. This look can be easily carried when out shopping, casual coffee run or even on a lazy day while running errands. For me no look is complete without a perfect lipcolor and here its the icy pink shade from Revlon Matte balm in Elusive doing its trick.

Hope you like the styling. Have a great day ahead.. 🙂

Love
