There is something about Diwali that makes us love it, wait for it and celebrate it with so much zeal. The good times with friends and family, truck loads of food and mithai, crazy parties, getting ready, decorating the house, pooja and most importantly sharing every little joy together with your loved ones is the reason we wait for it for the entire year. The festival might be over but i dont think i want to stop lighting up the diyas and definitely not ready for the same-routine-life as yet. This post is my way(or excuse) of extending the celebrations. 🙂
Well actually my excitement to decorate our new pad and to feature my diwali outfit on blog lead me to write this post as i wanted to share the beautiful pictures that we managed to click amidst a busy day. Moreover the festivities deserve to be shared on the blog as well… right!! 🙂
So while i was searching for something traditional to wear on Diwali, i wasn’t too keen on anything heavy. It was a tiring and laborious search which finally ended at BIBA. They have a colorful and vibrant collection of suits and kurtis and there i saw this black georgette suit set with intricate gold embroidery at the upper body complemented by red and magenta colors. The length of shirt is its real beauty and the fabric makes it fall so gracefully. The long sleeves and color blocked dupatta made it a perfect choice for me. This piece was love at first sight and exactly what i was looking for at this moment. To complement the dress i wore my new Amrapali jewels jhumkis in gold and black.
As much as i loved it, hope you guys had a fun Diwali too. Ending this post with my best wishes for you all.. May you have a prosperous and joyful year ahead… 🙂
Have a great Weekend.
