Bblunt Salon Secret High Shine Creme Hair Color Review

Bblunt Salon Secret High Shine Creme Hair color Review

It had been a while since I last coloured my hair (Yes I do color my hair almost twice a year) and was actually thinking of paying the salon a visit when I came across this new hair color range by Bblunt . I was so excited to try it out at home that I ordered one for myself the same day it was launched over from Nykaa.

I went with dark brown shade out of the 7 colors available for achieving a dark global color as it looked like the safest bet. The package arrived within two days of placing the order and just before the weekend. The price, no-ammonia and 100% grey hair coverage claim was too good to be missed considering how heavy on pocket hair colouring is otherwise. Plus it comes with a separate shine tonic apart from the developer and colorant tubes that lends a healthy shine to hair post application just like salon. So gathering all my courage, I sat down on a Sunday evening to try my hands for the first time at home hair colouring.

All I needed was a plastic bowl and a colour application brush to get started with. I then emptied out the content from all the 3 different tubes into the bowl and mixed it all until creamy. The box came with a pair of gloves too which made the application real easy. Best part is that you only need to keep the color for 30 mins and use any color protectant shampoo + conditioner later (check out my review of the Bblunt Hair Care Products here for more details). Then just emulsify the color for 5 mins with water and then keep running water through your hair until it is clear before shampooing.

Talking of post hair color experience, my hair did not feel dry or frizzy at all, rather there was a nice shine to it. Even though I had a little more than usual hair fall but that I am guessing was due to dryness. I had not done any oiling or hair spa from quite long and the color further added to the dryness (after all there are some chemicals present in it if not ammonia) but two oiling sessions later, the hair fall has subdued a lot. And it did manage to cover all the grey hair which is quite amazing.

The color is still intact after two weeks of application and I am definitely looking forward to use this product in the future. Out of the 7 shades available, Blueberry is on my mind for the next time. And if you too want to color your hair and don’t want to spend a bomb at it, must try this one by Bblunt.

Love
Raman
