For whatever you do, there’s always a first time. And this time the girl in me wanted to try something which is not a new trend relatively but a comeback from the 90’s. I was all excited to try it but with certain inhibitions of course, like, if it was going to suit my body type or was going to make me look small etcetera etcetera! So keeping all doubts in my mind, I went with these casual boyfriend overalls with ripped details that I found at Zara sale. They fit me perfectly and are so comfortable to be running around in.

These denim overalls can be a head turner if styled properly and make for a perfect laid-back attire. Wear them to the movies, casual outings, shopping, to run errands or even for those lazy Sunday brunches, just like I did. You can also style them for a sharper look by pairing with heels and a chic bag, hair tied in a sleek pony further spices up your look.

There are almost a dozen options when it comes to the top to pair my ripped denim overalls with. I was particularly looking for a monotone body suit with a round neckline and full sleeves but you can also go for a crop top, loose tee or even an off shoulder top. I somehow couldn’t find a bodysuit that I liked and that was when I came across this floral shirt tucked in the corner of my wardrobe. It went perfectly with my overalls adding a hint of color to my look.

As I was heading out for a casual brunch on a hot Sunday afternoon, I decided to keep it easy breezy with my footwear and wore these slip-ons for the comfort they provide. Rolled up cuffs and slouchy style perfectly sums up my off-duty style. A light dewy base and flush of color on my cheeks and lips was all that I needed on my face to keep up with the humid weather.

So next time when you want to try something different but are scared, remember you wouldn’t know how you feel unless you try it. So go ahead and give it a shot. you might create wonders! 🙂
