Winters are around the corner and in no time we would be digging out our favourite sweaters and structured jackets out of the closet. With deeper colors like wine, olive, berry, burgundy and black leading the winter color palette, there was no better timing than onset of Fall to put together an all black and breezy outfit. Even though there is a sharper color contrast but the mood of this look is very romantic and relaxed. It makes for a perfect shopping day outfit with your girlfriends and is sure to glide you softly through the tiring day. The top is actually a shirt dress that I have paired with my favourite skirt for this all black look.
Sometimes the entire process of putting together an outfit, finding location to shoot and finally getting satisfying pictures becomes difficult to cut through within the limited time frame of weekend. But there are some beautiful days when everything happens at an easy pace, without any chaos. It was one such day when we shot this look. It took me just about a few minutes to conceptualize this outfit and get ready!
Also, I am absolutely loving my new haircut. All the compliments help but mainly because it is so easy to manage and style! For these soft curls, I just twirled my damp hair and let it air-dry for a bouncy wavy look. The burgundy bow was an impromptu addition and it totally uplifted the monochrome mood of my look. This is the thing with statement pieces you see!
For makeup base I just dabbed some BB cream all over, concealer under eyes, powder to set it all and blush to give a rosy touch to my cheeks. This lip color is a mix of Maybelline gloss and Chambor orange lipstick.
Hope you liked the easy chic look this time. I am planning to style some more Fall/Winter looks in upcoming days, so till then keep reading and loving HuesOfMe. 🙂
